Dream Video

Your final group project this semester will be to create a digital video representing one of Freud's dreams, or a dream of your own, along with its Freudian interpretation. There will be a final symposium during our regularly scheduled final exam period during which groups will present their final video projects to the class for discussion. Each group will choose one of the following:

Irma's injection.
A child is burning.
Yellow-bearded uncle.
Dora's first dream.
Dora's second dream.
A dream from the dream paper by one your group's members.
Another dream from Freud's writings. 
Another dream from your group.

Your group video should provide a creative recreation of the dream itself making use of both images and words. You may wish to use screencasting for parts of this project. Then create a clear and compelling retelling of the dream's psychoanalytic interpretation.

The video should be 5-10 minutes in length. Please try not to go significantly over this time limit. Your video should be posted to youtube and embedded on the class blog for viewing.
