Homework 2/1

Below is a very eye-opening video that I think perfectly pertains to this class. As you can see, Mr. Flames has clearly felt artistically repressed all of his life which is symbolized by his presence in a lower class neighborhood and by his tendency to "rap" from behind a fence. We also see his desire for women in a dream like state sequence in the video which is indicative of his need to fulfill his wishes as Freud speculates in "The Interpretation of Dreams."

He is going "hard in the paint" to make up for his low status he has felt all his life. He feels a need to rebel and we see this in his urban attire and possession and usage of illicit drugs.

Enjoy this intellectually stimulating experience and, please, go hard in the paint.

I'd have to say that I would have to disagree with your statement that he was an underlying want for women. Are you serious? Have you seen this guy? it's the women who want HIM. He ain't gon be trippin an doin that thang oerr der homie, were da n**** gotta do werk to get a chick. you must be TRIPPIN'. This vid shows his true swag and, as a result, the women will come.
